At Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, our team of compassionate professionals will help guide you through your journey. Our staff includes breast cancer survivors who are also former patients of our surgeons. They serve our patients as navigators and care coordinators, having been through breast cancer treatment and reconstruction themselves. 

Our staff also includes physician assistants and nurse practitioners with specialized knowledge in caring for patients who have undergone cosmetic and/or breast reconstruction surgery, as well as aesthetic skin care treatments such as  BOTOX®, dermal fillers, and lasers for improving skin quality. Additionally, we have numerous nurses and medical assistants on staff specializing in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. As a women-run team, we strive to provide high-quality, compassionate care to every patient. Below, you can get to know some of our dedicated team members.

Marissa Arras

Marissa Arras

Native Texan Marissa has been a certified surgical technologist (CST) for 25 years and works primarily in our onsite surgery center, Austin Cosmetic Surgery Center. She received her certification from Odessa College in 1996 and her associate’s degree in applied science for surgical technology in 2005. She began her career at Community Hospital in San Angelo before making her way to Austin. Her operating room experience spans the full spectrum of surgical specialties, making her a particularly knowledgeable staff trainer for our technologists and nurses.

In addition to scrubbing into the operating room to assist our surgeons and train staff, Marissa is responsible for maintaining our surgical equipment and supplies inventory, sterile processing, instrument decontamination, operating room environmental processes, and policy and procedure implementation. Marissa first began working with Dr. Fisher in 2018 at Central Park Surgery Center with HCA Healthcare and was recruited to the Austin Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team in 2020. Marissa loves what she does and feels fortunate to be a part of the APRS team.

On her days off, Marissa enjoys unwinding from her week by going bowling and hiking. She also loves to go to concerts, gaming centers, and farmer’s markets, and she relishes spending quality time with her sons and grandson.

Patient Care Coordinator

Amanda serves as our cosmetic patient coordinator, renowned for her exceptional compassion and empathy towards our patients. She thrives on establishing personal connections with individuals, delving into their stories and the journey that brought them to us. For Amanda, the most rewarding aspect of her role is witnessing the transformation "after" treatment – seeing patients not only look incredible but also radiate newfound confidence brings her immense fulfillment.

Outside of work, Amanda cherishes moments with her son, indulging in activities such as ranch visits, 4-wheeling adventures, tending to cows, and loves being out in the water.

Julie Culin

Julie is a breast cancer survivor and former patient of Dr. Christine Fisher's who joined Austin Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2016. Her personal experience with breast cancer set the stage for her to volunteer with the Breast Cancer Resource Center's AsSisters program, as well as be involved in several of BCRC's fundraising events, including Art Bra® Austin. Julie has a B.S. in kinesiology from the University of Texas and an M.S. in allied health resources from Texas State University.

Working with our plastic surgeons and the patients who come through the office has brought Julie full circle back to her roots and love of the healthcare world. She primarily manages the day-to-day operations of our onsite surgery center, Austin Cosmetic Surgery Center, and manages the coordination of patient care from initial consultation through the post-operative period.

Outside of the office, Julie is busy with her husband and two active kids, as well as playing tennis and pickleball in leagues around the city. Her favorite tagline is, "Choose to be amazing!"

Courtney Duesing

Reconstructive Patient Care Coordinator

Originally from Corpus Christi, Courtney is a breast cancer survivor with personal experience with breast reconstruction and treatment for breast cancer, including chemotherapy. She serves as the practice’s reconstructive patient care coordinator, working directly with our breast cancer patients to schedule their first-stage and revision breast reconstruction consultations, provide education on the reconstructive process, and support our patients through and beyond treatment. Diagnosed in 2015, Courtney is deeply passionate about connecting and working with fellow survivors, as her empathy for them is highly personal.

Courtney has been a proud resident of Austin since 2003. Before joining our team in November 2021, she was the director of communications and community relations for a large local surgical practice until leaving to be a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters. During that time, she was an active member of The Junior League of Austin and volunteered at her girls’ schools. She has a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Western Colorado University, where she was an avid snow skier and enjoyed hiking and fly fishing.

When she is not working or chauffeuring her children to and from activities and playdates, Courtney enjoys playing golf with her husband of 15 years, boating on Lake Austin, traveling with her family, cooking, Barre classes, and running Town Lake with their miniature Australian Shepherd, Bella Mae.

Vangie Hemphill

Surgery Coordinator

Native Texan Vangie has been in the medical field for over 20 years. After earning her associate’s degree at El Paso Community College, she got her start in healthcare in family medicine before finding her way to plastic surgery. She joined the Austin Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team in early 2021 after relocating from Dallas. Vangie is the helpful voice our patients hear over the phone when they are ready to schedule reconstructive surgery.

She takes care of insurance authorizations and pre-op appointment scheduling, as well as coordinating surgery between our office, the hospital, and the breast surgeon. Vangie admires the strength of our breast reconstruction patients and enjoys getting to know every patient who walks through our doors.

Outside of work, Vangie enjoys staying active with spin classes, weight lifting, yoga, golf, and volleyball. She has two four-legged children, Fergie and Peppercorn, who also keep her busy, and she’s currently working on her green thumb by learning to landscape.

Santina Mastoris MPAS, PA-C is an NCCPA board certified member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant and the American Academy of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, graduating with high honors, after which she earned a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies through Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston.
An Ohio native, Santina joins our team after over seven years of PA experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Rochester, New York. Her experience is diverse in facial, breast, body, reconstructive, and hand surgery. She also has over seven years of experience in the operating room as well.
Santina works alongside Dr. Dumestre, assisting in the operating room and providing pre- and post-operative care to their patients. Santina’s passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery and her years of experience gives her unique insight and skill to provide compassionate, expert care to the patients of our practice. Her attention to detail, exceptional dexterity, and precise fine motor skills helps patients get their desired outcome, while providing the most natural results. She enjoys working with patients to collaboratively develop a treatment plan that has them feeling their best and most confident.

Karen McCallum

Karen McCallum is a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with a deep passion for providing safe and effective anesthesia care to each of her patients. 


Born and raised in Houston, TX, Karen was encouraged by her uncle (a care-flight nurse) to pursue nurse anesthesia at a young age. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Texas Christian University in 2008. After gaining valuable experience as cardiac ICU nurse, Karen obtained her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (MSN) from Arkansas State University in 2015. 


With over 10 years of anesthesia experience, Karen has worked in various hospitals and surgery centers here in Austin, TX. Karen has been working directly with Dr Fisher for over 8 years and loves working with all the talented surgeons at APRS. Being part of helping patients feel their best during the perioperative experience brings Karen so much joy. 


Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing golf, being on the lake, snow skiing and tending to her plant children. 

Lara Montfort

Lara is a surgical nurse and provider at Austin Cosmetic Medspa who specializes in a variety of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including neuromodulators such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and DAXXIFY™; dermal fillers; SkinPen® Microneedling; resurfacing lasers; diVa® Vaginal Rejuvenation; hair restoration; and medical-grade skincare. She studied arts and humanities at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis before pursuing nursing at Indiana State University. She has been a registered nurse since 2009 and absolutely loves what she does. Her nursing background includes caring for patients in cardiac, oncology, women’s health, plastic surgery, and other surgical settings.

She has taken care of cosmetic plastic surgery patients since 2017, and she joined our practice in 2018. Lara is known by our patients for her specialized surgical and aesthetic expertise, warm sensibility, and empathetic demeanor.

Lara and her husband have lived in Austin since 2011. They have three children (a boy and two girls), plus a fur baby—a Boxer from Austin Boxer Rescue. Lara says Austin is the perfect place for her and her family to call home: Lara is a half-marathon runner who enjoys the outdoors, her husband is a musician, and the family volunteers by fostering dogs through Austin Boxer Rescue.

Melody, a dedicated surgical technician with over a decade of experience, earned her associates from Austin Community College. Born and raised in Austin, her passion for surgery and anatomy has been unwavering since she embarked on her career journey. Outside the operating room, Melody finds solace in the rhythm of live concerts and the tranquility of nature through hiking adventures. However, her greatest joy lies in spending quality time with her daughter, cherishing every moment of their bond. 

Hawna Mumm

Hawna is a nurse practitioner licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing Certified by American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)..Her experience spans cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, operating room circulation, and nonsurgical aesthetic medicine. She joined our practice in 2022.

Hawna grew up on a ranch outside of Austin in Liberty Hill. She obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2011 and then worked as an operating room nurse in Austin, circulating for many specialties. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for cosmetic surgery and chose to pursue a career as a plastic surgery nurse practitioner. In 2017, she graduated with her master's degree in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

At our practice, Hawna assists our plastic surgeons in the operating room during cosmetic surgery cases and takes care of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients in the office. Her knowledge, experience, compassion, and dedication to helping patients feel like the best version of themselves combine to make her a much-loved member of our team by patients and staff alike.

Interestingly, Hawna was named after Hana on the island of Maui, one of her favorite places to travel. Her number one love is her corgi, Archie. On the weekend, Hawna enjoys Austin's live music scene, camping, discovering new restaurants, reading classic novels (John Steinbeck is her favorite novelist), sleeping in, and spending time with her friends and family. 

Jeremy Porche

A southwest Louisiana native with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Jeremy joined the Austin Cosmetic Medspa team in 2019. After earning his bachelor of science in nursing in 1996, Jeremy worked as a critical care nurse before going on to earn his master of science in nurse anesthesia in 2004 from Texas Wesleyan University. He practiced as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) in Los Angeles before moving to Austin in 2007, serving as Chief CRNA at Austin Anesthesiology Group for 10 years.

Jeremy continues to practice anesthesiology at St. David’s Medical Center and for our patients having surgery at our onsite cosmetic surgery center. He is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists. As an adjunct to his anesthesia practice, Jeremy chose to pursue aesthetic specialization at Austin Cosmetic Medspa in neuromodulators (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and DAXXIFY™), cosmetic dermal fillers, and SkinPen® Microneedling. He is focused on enhancing patients’ natural appearance with the key goal of providing treatments that are proven to be medically safe while also innovative. Jeremy is known among our patients and staff for his enthusiastic demeanor, genuine passion for improving one’s aesthetic appeal, and participation in collaborative approaches to quality patient care.

Rebecca is a native Austinite. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, graduating in 2000 with high honors from the physician assistant program. She then completed her master of science in physician assistant studies in 2002. She first began working with Dr. Christine Fisher in 2014. Prior to plastics and reconstructive surgery, she worked in cardiovascular surgery, gaining extensive surgical training and patient care experience.

Rebecca works alongside Dr. Fisher, assisting in the operating room and providing post-operative care and education to their patients. She is an experienced practitioner specially trained in reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries, as well as non-invasive procedures, such as dermal fillers, BOTOX®, and skin resurfacing lasers. Rebecca is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Texas Medical Board.

Rebecca found a passion for taking care of breast cancer patients after her mother was diagnosed and underwent breast cancer treatment. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, playing with her dog, and spending time with her family.

Daniela, originally from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, embarked on her nursing journey fueled by her family's legacy of healthcare professionals. Moving to the US for college, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from South Dakota State University and furthered her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Augustana University. With five years of nursing experience spanning various specialties, Daniela found her niche as a perioperative nurse specializing in plastic and cosmetic surgery at APRS in Austin. Known for her compassion and advocacy for patients, Daniela ensures they receive the utmost care and support. Outside of her profession, she enjoys quality time with her husband and their beloved orange tabby, Fez. Daniela's interests include photography, culinary adventures, and dancing, reflecting her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Born in New Mexico and raised in Austin, Texas for the past 16 years, Andrea Stovall's journey has been one of dedication and service. With 23 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, specializing in intensive care, she has stood witness to the highs and lows of the human condition, finding purpose in healing and compassion.

Married with three children and a delightful puppy, her family is the cornerstone of her life, and her children stand as her proudest achievement. Beyond the hospital walls, she finds solace and joy in their laughter and the bonds they share.

In her spare moments, Andrea finds fulfillment in the simplicity of life's pleasures. Hannah's passion for healthcare blossomed during an internship with an Oncology group in her hometown. It was there that she witnessed the profound impact of healthcare on individuals and communities, sparking her dedication to contributing positively to this field. Diandra is the stunning face that greets you at our Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Desk as the Clinic Coordinator. She began her healthcare career 6 years ago in Dermatology as a Medical Assistant in both the Dallas and Austin areas. Continuing her career, Diandra had found inspiration and liveliness in aesthetics, seeing the empowerment of people finding their own confidence. This led her to the life changing experience and decision to stay in Austin.

Diandra has made grounds here at Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by providing amazing hospitality, compassion, and patience. From the first time you walk into the building to leaving the building, she knows how important it is to others to be acknowledged and cared for.

During her free time, Diandra likes to explore Austin with her daughter, Mylo. Some of their favorite activities are bike riding, going to parks, art museums, and of course shopping. Describing herself as a "woman who is driven and excited" to have new experiences and continue making monumental strides in her careers.

Morgan is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant. A Dallas native, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health & Society at the University of Texas at Austin. She pursued her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she excelled academically, graduating at the top of her class and earning induction into Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. 

Morgan works closely with Dr. Ehanire in the operating room and clinic. She strives to provide comprehensive patient care, helping her patients achieve their aesthetic goals while ensuring they feel both confident and well-informed throughout their journey. 

Outside of her professional work, Morgan is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. She loves camping, playing tennis, traveling, and exploring different cultures, especially through food and music.

Raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands, Ariana Williams grew up spending countless days in her father’s Family Practice, which ignited her passion for healthcare. She became a Registered Nurse in 2020 and quickly developed a deep love for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Ariana takes pride in guiding patients through their personal healthcare journey, emphasizing informed decision-making and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Her approach highlights the importance of empathy, ensuring each patient feels informed and supported throughout their journey.

Olivia is a passionate and driven medical assistant with a strong academic foundation and a commitment to patient care. Originally from Washington, D.C., Olivia recently relocated to Austin, Texas, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as she continues to pursue her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2023, earning a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Health Science. Olivia then went on to complete her Master's in Biomedical Science at Nova Southeastern University in 2024, where she graduated as valedictorian of her class.

Olivia’s decision to become a medical assistant stemmed from her deep passion for medicine and her desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives. She strives to empower individuals by providing compassionate care, ensuring they feel informed and supported in their healthcare journey. Currently in the process of applying to PA school. Olivia is eager to continue her education and take on a more direct role in patient care.

Haleigh is a skilled and certified Aesthetician with over seven years of diverse experience in the skincare industry. Originally from Midland, Texas, and raised in the hill country near Austin, she developed a passion for helping others achieve their skin goals. She specializes in advanced treatments such as HydraFacial’s, microneedling, laser therapies. Haleigh is particularly renowned for her precision and artistry with eyebrows.

A graduate of Ann Webb Skin Institute, Haleigh not only honed her technical skills during her time there but also had the opportunity to work as a student educator. This experience allowed her to further develop her teaching abilities, blending technical expertise with a nurturing approach to empower others in their own aesthetic careers. Haleigh goes beyond just performing treatments—she strives to create a truly positive experience by listening to each client’s concerns, needs, and goals. Whether it’s a first-time client or a loyal regular, she prioritizes creating a welcoming environment where clients feel relaxed, confident, and cared for on their skincare journey.

Hi! My name is Lexi and I am the surgery scheduler for Dr. Ehanire and Dr. Dumestre. I have worked in Plastic Surgery since 2016 and truly have a passion for my work and being able to navigate the scheduling world for our amazing patients. I worked with Dr. Fisher in 2019 and I was honored to be able to rejoin the Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Team when my husband and I moved back to the Austin area in 2023. 

I am a Licensed Aesthetician, an Army wife, and the mom to the coolest 2-year-old boy! When I'm not at work, you can usually find me out on a patio with a glass of wine, enjoying the weather and spending time with my family. 
I look forward to bringing years of experience to my job and helping our patients in any way they may need!

Angel is a creative marketing professional originally from East Texas and born in San Marcos, Texas. Angel returned to her hometown to attend Texas State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. During her time at Texas State, Angel built a strong foundation in digital marketing, developing expertise in brand strategy, content creation, and consumer engagement.

Angel’s interest in healthcare marketing is deeply personal. Inspired by her grandmother, a breast cancer survivor and lifelong role model. She is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the healthcare space. She is driven to combine creativity, compassion, and digital storytelling to elevate patient-centered messages and community-focused campaigns.

Outside of her professional life, Angel enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, especially her beloved German Shepherd, Blu. She also has a love for travel and finds inspiration in exploring new places and cultures.

Lucy is a registered nurse with over six years of experience in patient care and five years in aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado prior to pursuing a nursing degree from Creighton University.

Lucy specializes in non-surgical aesthetic treatments such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, and laser therapies. Her approach focuses on achieving facial harmony and natural-looking results that highlight each patient’s unique features. She views injectables as a true art form and takes time to understand every patient’s goals, crafting individualized treatment plans that leave them feeling confident.

When she's not working, you can usually find Lucy cooking something new, hitting the gym, or enjoying a craft cocktail.  Her favorite way to relax is watching a scary movie with her husband and their cat, Sage.  She also loves getting outdoors to ski, hike, and camp whenever she can.  Fun fact: Lucy grew up in a military family and her husband served in the Army, so she's lived in eight states and three countries, but now she's thrilled to finally be putting down roots here in Austin.

McKenzie is the Office and Client Experience Manager at Austin Cosmetic MedSpa, where she combines her background in Marketing and Business Analytics from the University of Nevada, Reno with a genuine passion for medical aesthetics. Though her career began outside the aesthetic industry, she quickly discovered her love for helping clients look and feel their best — and can’t imagine doing anything else.

With an eye for detail and a heart for service, McKenzie is dedicated to curating a seamless, elevated experience for every patient. She works closely with our providers to ensure each visit feels personalized, educational, and stress-free, blending clinical excellence with a warm, hospitality-driven touch. Her goal is for every guest to leave feeling confident, cared for, and completely at ease.

Originally from Lake Tahoe, Nevada, McKenzie brings a love of the outdoors and a sense of calm, natural beauty into everything she does. Outside of the MedSpa, she enjoys Pilates, long walks, and exploring new spots around Austin.

Alexis is a registered nurse with over six years of experience in patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy University in New York and is known for her warm, compassionate approach and dedication to making patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

Alexis began her nursing career in pediatric oncology, where she developed a strong foundation in attentive, patient-focused care. She later discovered a passion for aesthetic nursing and plastic surgery, loving the opportunity to help patients feel confident, supported, and excited about their results.

Originally from New York, Alexis recently relocated to Austin, Texas. She and her husband are enjoying exploring Austin together, along with their two cats and their chinchilla. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys hanging out with friends, staying active at Orangetheory, and traveling whenever she can.

Westin has worked in esthetics and medical esthetics for many years. After completing esthetician school, he moved into day spa management, gaining experience in luxury customer service and managing a wide range of personalities.

After several years in day spa management, Westin is returning to the medspa setting. At the front desk, he focuses on helping guests feel comfortable and ensuring their visit starts off smoothly, while supporting services that include laser treatments, injectables, and a full range of advanced medical aesthetic treatments.

Makenna was born and raised in the DFW area before relocating to Central Texas to pursue her education. She graduated with honors from Texas State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, with a concentration in pre–physician assistant studies.

Following graduation, Makenna entered the medical field as a medical assistant to gain hands-on experience working alongside providers and to begin her lifelong journey of patient care. After two years in orthopedics, she transitioned into plastic and reconstructive surgery, drawn to the opportunity to support both physical healing and patient confidence, helping individuals feel comfortable and at ease in their own skin.

As she prepares her applications for physician assistant school, Makenna continues to expand her clinical knowledge while supporting both providers and patients. Outside of work, she is dedicated to maintaining an active lifestyle through Pilates, yoga, and outdoor runs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants around town, and traveling to new cities or visiting her sister in Chicago.

Saylem Brooks

Saylem assists patients through all phases of their journey at APRS — from initial consultation with physicians in the clinic to surgery day, recovery, and MedSpa visits. She works closely with patients at each stage, offering support and guidance throughout the process.

Her love of medicine was shaped early in life while caring for her grandparents during their cancer journeys, an experience that inspired her to pursue nursing. She began her career in special-needs pediatrics, where she developed a deep appreciation for whole-person care, patient advocacy, and meaningful connection. Guided by a dedication to continued growth and learning, her clinical experience naturally expanded to include surgical, aesthetic, and infusion nursing.

In her role at APRS, she proudly honors the trust and vulnerability patients share by creating a safe environment where they feel empowered, informed, and respected in their decisions.
