Dr. Christine Fisher Observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month at New Location

Austin, TXRenowned breast reconstruction surgeon Dr. Christine Fisher has a new location in Austin, just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. As a plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, Dr. Fisher spends much of her time working with breast cancer survivors to help them restore their bodies after cancer treatment. Now, she is thrilled to offer her superior patient care and outstanding breast reconstruction results to women throughout the Austin area in a bigger and more inviting space.

“For me, it’s about creating amazing results while ensuring that my patients feel cared for and comfortable,” Dr. Fisher explained. “The new office is a beautiful, calm and feminine space where we offer state-of-the-art treatments and techniques to provide our patients with the best possible outcomes.”

Dr. Fisher provides a wide range of procedures at her Austin center. In addition to breast reconstruction and enhancement, she performs surgical body contouring and facial rejuvenation. For patients who would like to improve their appearance without surgery, she also features a menu of effective nonsurgical treatments including microneedling, chemical and laser peels and innovative PRP (platelet- rich plasma) options.

While Dr. Fisher offers the full spectrum of both cosmetic surgery and nonsurgical aesthetic skincare treatments, her heart is with her patients looking to restore their lives and bodies after a breast cancer diagnosis. Offering more techniques than most plastic surgeons, Dr. Fisher can tailor her reconstructive procedures to the unique needs of each patient to achieve natural-looking results. Patients choose from reconstruction using implants, fat transfer or techniques using living tissue to reconstruction the breast, depending on their individual concerns and aesthetic goals.

With extensive experience in breast reconstruction, Dr. Fisher is frequently asked to speak at events and serves on the Medical Advisory Committee for the Breast Cancer Resource Center. She is also a sponsor for Art Bra® Austin and recently served as a sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Austin Race for the Cure®. She is an active participant in Breast Cancer Awareness month every October — a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention and treatment.

Dr. Fisher’s new facility celebrated its grand opening on September 13 with giveaways, live music and discounted treatments. The additional space, combined with tranquil décor and elegant furnishings, make her office a space where women feel cared for as they pursue their reconstructive and cosmetic goals.
