40s female with left DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ)

Case ID: 9756

Individual results may vary.

Case Details

Age: 40s

She underwent a left breast nipple-sparing mastectomy with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction. A small window of skin from the DIEP flap is visible under the left breast. The patient was happy with the result. This patient’s abdominal scar is higher than Dr. Fisher’s usual design because her main blood vessel nourishing the flap was high on her abdomen. She did not undergo any revision surgeries.
