At Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, we believe breast reconstruction is about more than restoring form. It is about restoring a sense of self. As board certified plastic surgeons specializing in breast reconstruction in Austin, our all female care team is honored to walk alongside patients through some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives.

Led by Dr. Christine Fisher, Dr. Tosan Ehanire, and Dr. Danielle Dumestre, our practice is rooted in expertise, compassion, and a shared commitment to helping patients feel whole again with natural looking results.

That is why we are proud to sponsor Art Bra Austin 2026, a runway event that reflects the very heart of what we stand for. Strength. Healing. And the courage to be seen.

Breast Reconstruction in Austin Rooted in Compassion and Expertise

For many women, the journey through breast cancer includes deeply personal decisions about reconstruction. Our team provides individualized care at every stage, from diagnosis to recovery and beyond.

As experienced breast reconstruction plastic surgeons in Austin, we offer advanced techniques including implant based reconstruction and DIEP flap surgery. Every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored, with a focus on restoring balance, confidence, and natural looking outcomes that align with each patient’s vision for themselves.

We understand that this journey is not only physical. It is emotional, layered, and deeply human. Our all female team creates a space where patients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their care.

Where Art Meets Survivorship

Art Bra Austin is a powerful reflection of that same philosophy.

This one of a kind event features wearable works of art modeled by breast cancer survivors, each design telling a story of resilience and transformation. It invites a different kind of conversation around healing. One that makes space for both grief and beauty, for what was lost and what is still becoming.

In 2026, the show embraces sustainability, encouraging designers to use innovative materials and intentional design practices that reflect both creativity and responsibility.

Supporting the Breast Cancer Community in Austin

Art Bra Austin is the largest annual fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Resource Center, a nonprofit that has supported Central Texans since 1995.

Through guidance, education, and peer support, BCRC ensures that no one faces breast cancer alone. Their Certified Patient Navigators, all breast cancer survivors themselves, provide deeply personal support from diagnosis through survivorship. Every service is offered at no cost, creating access to care that is both compassionate and empowering.

Honoring One of Our Own

This year, the experience is especially meaningful to our team.

Courtney, one of our Patient Coordinators and a ten year breast cancer survivor, will be modeling in Art Bra Austin for the second time. An Austin native, she was diagnosed at 35 with Stage 2A infiltrating ductal carcinoma and underwent chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and reconstructive surgery.

Her presence on the runway is a reflection of resilience, identity, and the strength it takes to move forward. To stand beside her is a reminder of the kind of courage we are privileged to witness every day.

A Shared Commitment to Healing

At Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, our work is grounded in more than surgical outcomes. It is about trust, connection, and helping each patient feel at home in their body again.

As leaders in breast reconstruction in Austin, Dr. Christine Fisher, Dr. Tosan Ehanire, and Dr. Danielle Dumestre are proud to support initiatives like Art Bra Austin that uplift survivors and strengthen our community.

Because healing is not a single moment. It is a process. And no one should have to walk through it alonne.
