This is a 51-year-old woman found to have right breast cancer. She was also found to have the BRCA gene. After undergoing preoperative chemotherapy, she underwent a bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy with a two-stage breast reconstruction using tissue expanders. Six months after her mastectomy, she underwent silicone implant placement and fat grafting.
