57 yo diagnosed with right breast cancer, planned treatment double mastectomy with immediate DIEP flap reconstrution. Photos: Before; and 6 months after left breast nipple-sparing / right breast skin sparing mastectomy, DIEP flap reconstruction with nerve transfer, and free nipple graft to right side. Her tumor was very close to right breast skin and nipple, which required removal of extra skin and leaving extra belly skin exposed with the reconstruction. She is awaiting her planned second surgery (right breast skin 'patch' downsizing, liposuction contouring to abdomen) performed by Dr. Dumestre.
